Americas Servicing Corporation ripoff, requires more flood insurance than the loan value Des Moines Iowa
Be aware that this company will purchase your home mortgage then require you to have more flood insurance coverage than the cost of the loan. Even if you have an original loan document that does not require the additional coverage.
I contacted the state of Pa insurance commission and they have no ruling on this being illegal. I also went through my loan officer and he reviewed the document and said they should not be able to do this. This should not be allowed. It has increased my flood insurance by more than $400 a year, making it almost impossible for me to pay.
If anyone decides to file a class action suit I would be more than happy to be included.
