Americorp Leasing, LLC Payment Systems Corp False Hopes and Promises Rochester Nationwide
This is about Payment Systems Corp and Americorp Leasing, LLC. Ms Andrea Pontious came into my shop and showed me a way to save money on processing. I was more than delighted.
After a couple months I read over the contract and was completely amazed that she lied through her teeth about the whole contract. I was in another contract which had a cancellation fee of $495.00 which I was bound to at the time for four years. She informed me that they would pay that $495.00 for me and get me in another contract at which the cancellation fee was only $295.00 and a 2 year contract. I guess I should not have took her word but the contract was so small I could not even see the wording.
After calling the company Payment Systems Corp told me I could not cancel the Merchant lease because it was NON-CANCELLABLE but I could cancel their service and I would be charged $995.00 which was way more than I was told. They said because it was a four year contract I would have to pay that amount. I was told it was a 2 year contract and $295.00 early termination fee. This is outrageous. All I want is to cancel both of them because I was lied to. When I called the lady who came into my shop she could only say, “I am busy and don’t have time to talk to you.” This is BULL.
I feel these two companies need to be shut down and taken off the map. They are liars and cheats. They are charging for a processing machine that you can buy anywhere for $200.00.
The lady also told me that I needed to get the new machine because of the chips that were going into credit cards and I would be charged $129.00 per month for the machine and all the processing. As of now I am being charged $149.95 from Americorp for the machine and all extras I am being charged processing fees from Payment Systems Corp.
The contract she had me sign say that I agree not to file a claim against them, but I never got a chance to even read the contract because she said she had to hurry and go to another client and assured me everything was ligit.
I just need to know what I can do to get out of this contract with the both of them.
