I am not in Ameriplan but have looked into it. I was able to find many providers in my area. I was also informed that $50.00 a month would be taken out.
Also you made a statement that you should not have to pay to work, but should be paid to work. Remember you are buying into your own business that has support. I checked out their support and training system and found it to be very efficient. If you were buying your own McDonalds, do you expect to have someone give you the hamburgers and buns? Keep in mind when you buy your own business you will have to invest time and money. If that does not appeal to you, then go to work for someone else. I found nothing wrong with this company.

Hi, I feel bad for you. But your situation is not that you are a victim, but that you clearly didnt bother to read any of the policies in place with this company! I myself am looking for a homebased business. Unlike you I have done my homework. And the broker I have been talking with made it clear that you pay 50.00 a month, which is for 5 different websites, free training and materials. I also checked out several diffrent ameriplan websites and found the same info. on ea. site. I looked up participating providers and started calling them to see if they honor the fee schedule. All but one did. And I am reporting them to ameriplan because they are the one defaulting NOT ameriplan!! I was also impressed that my very own dentist not only accepts it but has purchased the discount cards for all of his employees. And yes I did check out the BBB which says it revoked ameriplans membership. However they do that when there are to many complaints. Its unfortunate that the majority of the complaints are unfounded. They are all very similar to this one. So next time you try to ruin a reputation, make sure you have your facts correct!!!

I am an Ameriplan IBO. When a member signs up they are sent an email usually within minutes of siging up and hitting the submit or enter key. This is what the typical email shows when you sign up for an Ameriplan member and the IBO email is simular. Anyone signing up for ANY plan for ANYTHING should read EVERYTHING before hitting Enter or submit.

As another person stated, do not judge a company by one person's inability to read and comprehend an agreement. I would also like to mention that Ameriplan is still listed with "Dun & Bradstreet". And as others have said one must pay money to be a member of the BBB. Perhaps paying money to the BBB was no longer a necessary promotional venture. God Bless you all.

I'm sorry you went through that, but I'm also a broker with ameriplan and if you signed up yourself then they let you know in the terms and conditions that it is a recurring charge, starting the next month. If you were signed up by someone else than the broker should have told you and it says something about it in the confirmation email you receive. It seems that your problem stemmed from you not reading through everything like you should if you are planning on investing money. They also include how you can cancel and I've had a couple of people change their minds and I check with them and they had no problems. So please don't slam the company because you didn't do what you should have. This is a business opportunity not some get rich scheme and as with any business it takes investment!
