In case you didn't understand the question, you the broker promise to pay off someone's car or get cash out for them then don't, where does that money go did ameriquest get to keep the money or does the broker? Did you brokers take your work home with you and work after hours at home? Is there anything that might be helpful to us that you guys can tell us about the taxes and insurance practices of ameriquest, they never paid my taxes so where did that money go. It seems like there would be a HUGE surplus of CASH from all the funds that never made it to the borrower...

That guy, Steve, was clearly motivated by his Alimony Check. Otherwise, why would he care if he threatened the livelihood of his ex-wife? There can be only so many Argent reps with one daughter, getting divorced from a guy named Steve. It wouldn't take much investigating to determine who exactly she is. _________________ Also, regarding Roland Arnall's email: more of the same brain-washing spin that one would expect from a man in his position. It's one thing to completely eliminate the frauds committed in the field, but it's an entirely different thing to show the efforts of eliminating the frauds without affecting the growth of the company and the increase in profits while doing so. My gut tells me that the top brass know precisely what is occurring & they simply are applying the brakes w/o stopping.

Just a hunch on my part, but you seem to be full of sh_t. How much did ameriquest pay you to say that? I just cant believe all the things you have said be a lie all of the sudden? Your wife sounds like she went all the way to the top. She must know people high up to have you say everything that you did say was a lie? Have a backbone man if not for yourself but for your kids. If they have a mother like that they should not be with her!!! Do the right thing!!!

One year IS enough time to cool off, calm down, and see the light. Still, Steve's post 'reads like' some kind of arm twisting, threats, or a $ settlement was involved.... And why would the subjects of his original tirade really give a d***? Is this place THAT important? If so, I am impressed by Rip-off Reports.

I am the author of the rebuttal posted on this website on February 7, 2005 entitled "Day to Day Life/A Marriage Ruined. The Northern California region including Orange California's eadquarters is a cesspool of deceit". At the time of the posting, I was involved in a difficult divorce and child custody dispute with my former wife. In retrospect, I made certain statements and allegations regarding my wife's conduct and the conduct of her employer, Argent Mortgage Company, which were unwarranted and without support. I hereby retract my statements and allegations regarding my wife's alleged fraudulent conduct, the alleged Sodom and Gomorrah environment of Argent Mortgage Company, my wife's alleged neglect of her children and the alleged fraudulent business practices of Argent Mortgage Company.

I have read many of the reports listed in this publication and am literally not surprised by what I have seen. I am an ex-spouse of one of Argent mortgage's upper level regional managers that has experienced one of the most blatant example of how a marriage can be destroyed by this company, not to mention the devastation Argent has wreaked on my daughter because of the divorce. My ex-wife, who started with Ameriquest, fell into this quite lucrative position by accident. Shortly after she was hired, they decided to open up a wholesale division and she got in on the ground floor. Her salary went from 1000 k per month to a whopping 30k in the blink of an eye. For myself, quite a change in lifestyle. But with this change came a hell I could never have imagined. She went from nice to arrogant, grounded to high-nosed, etc. It became apparent that this co., although masquerading as this wholesome moral entity, was only interesed in the almighty dollar, and families of the employees were secondary. They actually seemed to have screwed with her mentally as, over time, we were no longer #1 in her life. She began taking odd business trips, not coming home at night, coming home very late, getting drunk and passing out in her car after leaving co. sponsored events. This goes hand in hand with what I have read about the Sodom and Gamorrah attitude with this co. I also have first hand knowledge regarding this from an ex-employee who left because she was disgusted with their practices. We repeatedly asked to be included in some of her business outings, I even offered to pay our own way at another hotel close by. My ex wife always stated that family was not allowed. I did some checking and found this not to be true. I can only surmise that the higher ups didn't want family around to find out what really was going on after hours. My ex-wife continues to work for argent to this day. In a way, I can't blame argent for everything. She makes her own choice to work there. But apparently, the money, philandering, the high-life in general is too much of a lure for many people and they are literally willing to give up all that is more important in life. In closing, I do feel that argent/ameriquest has committed fraud in many areas of their business, as I was privey to much of this while my ex-wife was still in the household. She was directly involved in this. I only hope that the federal government gets involved and prosecutes those involved. Class action lawsuits are not enough, only a slap on the wrist. People need to go to jail for this behavior. The northern california region/ including orange california's headquarters is a cesspool of deceit. Sincerely, A family man.
