I can not believe my eyes. We are also fighting AMC over the same issue. They paid our taxes early, and set up an escrow. Then they purchased insurance in March 2007 when we already had full coverage through another company. They set up escrow on that. My insurance company proved to them we had insurance, and then they dropped. Our insurance is 1300. a year. They purchased us insurance for 5000. a year.

After refunding the money to our escrow account, our escrow amount did not lower. As a matter of fact they have now escrowed us for insurance in 06/2008. I had my insurance company call them and three way me. They refused to listen to her. She explained to them the first time they were doubling insuring my house, and now they were expecting me topay for a policy they intend to purchase from my insurance company for us in 06/2008 when our policy automatically renews then. My insurance company told them they have never heard of such a practice.

It is unresonable to expect a homeowner to pay for insurance through their company and pay for next years through escrow. Our insurance is set up to be paid weekly out of my husbands check. It is never late. Between that and the taxes they paid on the first of Jan for us, they have managed to increase my house payment 960.00 a month. Even though we have paid of the amount of our taxes they paid, plus the tax that is due next year, plus extra insurance, our payment has still not gone down to what is suppose to be. No matter what they manage to keep us at 900. + extra a month.

Now we have been sold to Citi and they will not listen to us until 10/01/07. I even had an attorney send a letter of demand for them to stop. 3 months later they said they did not receive it, so I had my attorney fax it. 2 days later they said they did not receive it. Then my attorney called them, resent it and suprise they received it. It is sitting in the "Office of the President" They have 7 days to respond. Oh and get this. The very day they spoke with my attorney and received it, a letter went out to me dated that very same day that I had been sold to Citi Residential. What an odd coincidence. Not!

I can not believe thay are doing this to other people also. There must be something we can do together to helpeach other resolve this. I can not believe that a Mortgage Company walks such a fine line of the law. I did not even know thay had paid our taxes until my husband went in the tax office to pay them. The tax office said they had sent 2 seperate checks to pay them and they overpaid. No, we did not receive that money back. We were not late. It was the 1st of Jan.

When I spoke to the escrow office last week and asked when I would get my refund for all the extra I had paid, she said they did not give refunds. She said I could fax in a request to cancel the forced insurance, but that did not mean after they reviewed it that it would even happen.

In other words, no matter what I do, they are trying to force me into an extra 900.+ amonth. I have five kids and can not continue to pay this extra. We have drained my husbands 401k with emergency loans to save our house from the foreclosure notice you get when you are 30 days late. I can not even get the people who I bought my new home from 2 years ago to fix what they were suppose to fix.

So I am paying almost double the amount on my mortgage for a home that never even got the walk through problems fixed. I am tired of dishonest people and companies. There has to be something that can be done. can anybody help me??

It's official, Ameriquest and AMC Mortgage are "both out of business." The old corporate hull game and just "change names" and everyone will be fooled

It's official, Ameriquest and AMC Mortgage are "both out of business." The old corporate hull game and just "change names" and everyone will be fooled. Maybe. Dear S: It's official, Ameriquest and AMC Mortgage are "both out of business." These are the words (today) of arch mortgage fraud criminal James Brantley now Assistant to the President of Citi Residential. In spite of Brantley's infamous record as the primary person who caused AMC/Ameriquest to fail with hundreds of millions in judgments against them, Citi elected to hire well known mortgage criminal Brantley as their new Assistant to the President of Citi. The very same position Brantley had with the now defunct corporate hulls, Ameriquest/AMC. What is Citi's *motive* for hiring a known mortgage fraud criminal? The same as Ameriquest/AMC had: Citi wants your money and doesn't mind committing criminal mortgage fraud to get it. There is no other apparent justification or motive for hiring one of the top mortgage fraud criminals in America: James Brantley. I just got off the phone with Brantley at 1-866-461-0913. I asked who the President of Citi Residential was since he is the new Assistant. James Brantley declined to answer. When I asked about the estimated $1,500-$2,000 in actual damages that AMC owes me, he referred me to ACC Chief Counsel Eileen Rubens who has previously explained I shouldn't be asking ACC for the refund/adjustments. No surprise here at all.. The trail of worthless corporate hulls and the Who me? answer was invented long, long ago.. It's just that Bear Stearns, EMC, AMC, Ameriquest and now and especially Citi Residential have perfected this illicit scam that has all of them under criminal investigation(s) and historic lawsuits and judgments that rival the National Debt. And so it goes. Why not contact the media? I will. The IRS? I will because AMC knowingly gave me a bogus IRS 1098 form for 2005 making it very difficult for us to file 2005 taxes. The DOJ? I did, (but good luck on that angle.) I told Brantley I am going to the Citi Board of Directors and the media and I am filing specialized white collar crime charges on him. I asked for his location to serve him. No answer here either. I have already given notice to Ameriquest, AMC, James Brantley, and especially Citi Residential that I intend to sue. I also told Brantley that he will be served personally and I will attempt to "pierce the corporate veil" and prosecute Brantley personally for felony fraud. I am a numbers person par excellence. I am tenacious and I understand one of the most important things in these complex matters: ' If it is to be, ' it is up to ' **ME**
