It would probably be a very good idea to ask them to send you or e-mail you their rate lock policy before you authorize them to charge anything. That way you will understand the exact policy - if for some reason they charge you with our your consent the best way to deal with this is not by complaining, they will almost inevitably ignore you. Call your credit card company and dispute the charge with them, that will at least force Amerisave to deal with the situation as opposed to ignoring your phone calls.
