Complaint Review: Amerisave - Atlanta Georgia

To the poster of rebuttal titled: misleading information You are correct that Amerisave's phone number do work and that company is still in existence but that does not mean that the customer was having problems contacting his/her LO. However, if you are a current employee you also know that if the LO does not answer or return calls then the customer has a very difficult time finding out what is going on with his/her file. I worked there also and I answered at least 3 calls from customers that came through the general que (that by the way is the number people are suppose to dial if they are looking for a new loan) who were desparate to find out the status on their loan. For whatever reason the LO decide that it was no longer worhwhile to field their calls. So please not even try and pretend that what happend to this customer seems far fetched - I am not the only ex Amerisave employee that can confirm that these things occurred. As to your claim that "If Amerisave was a scam why would we have been featured in various news publications such as CNN and Money nagazine to name a few. We are also one of 5 upfront certified mortgage lenders in the nation." - these are all true. Amerisave has been featured on various publications but so were Country Wide and IndyMac Bank and we all know what happened to them........ Finally being certified as a UML is no blanket seal of approval and to my understanding the only reason their are 5 is because a lot of other lenders just do not find it worthwhile to apply. However, to be fair, it could also be because they would not be able to qualify.
