After contacting and signing with Ameristar, 1 week later I received modification documents from my loan company. When contacting Ameristar I was told not to sign the papers. These were modification documents I had worked on before Ameristar was involved. I was told repeatedly by Yvonne Geddie, not to sign those papers that they were working on a better deal.

Two months later I got a call from my loan company asking why I hadn't signed the documents. When I contacted Ameristar they said they would get back with me.

Weeks went by with out hearing a word from them other than not to sign the documents they were working on a better deal.

About Three months later my lender called me again asking why I had not signed the documents, we talked about everything on the phone and she sent me new papers to sign. Bill Ray then gets involved and tells me again not to sign. This went on for about 2 weeks with me trying to contact him every other day.

Finally I talked to the loan company again, and worked out my own deal. Which is the original loan modification I worked out with out Ameristar. Weeks after signing the papers Bill Ray emails me and tells me to go ahead and sign that was the best deal I could get.

Then much to my surprise I get a call from Ameristar telling me I need to work out the final payment and work out my monthly house payment. I told Joseph I did not believe I owed him the $400 because they did not modify my home loan.

All they did was cause me to get behind and almost lose my house. But they took $400 out of my checking account even though I did not give them authorization to take the money.

Do not use this company if you value your house and your money. They will rip you off, they do not return your calls, and they only want to communicate via email, once they have the first payment.

Work with your loan company. Do not pay someone to rip you off.
