Did you allow the corporation to fullfill their obligations for you, NO!!! You didn't want to build up your credit score either, you wanted to scam the corp. You wanted something different than to build up your credit,You wanted to spend, spend, and spend some more right? Corps like these don't work like that. As for your bank working with you, they don't work like that. As for your collection issue they did not stop action against you. Your file is passed on to a higher scale, CAT-A, B,C,D,,etc...Note to you, the face value of any check goes to a max, of 6 times, plus late fee's,etc.... this can reach as high as 10 times the face value when all is done. Don't take my word for it, get your credit report and in there will say and I " CHARGED OFF BAD DEBT" seven years of it on your file. End result you will still have to pay this debt back weather you like it or not.So my suggestion to you is as follow's, any SCAM corporation as stated will not and I'll state it again will not be able to put this on your credit report. (they are regulated) I think your able to answer your question truly, now that you have the facts. This process can take up to 1 year to reflect on your credit report. This is for you BABYTON if you are young and need to better yourself in the long run pay up. ( 7 YEARS) If your middle-aged + than don't pay. (sometime's people are so not driven or motivated, this is your credit the most important thing in your life, treat it with respect. It's the difference between that six figure job or your 15,000$ income, late model auto, or your beat up one, rent or homeowner, prepaid phones, CC,,,etc,, OUR WORLD REVOLVES AROUND CREDIT from the smallest thing to major Banks)

Chauncey let me just say first of all that I am sorry about what has happened to you and DALE has no idea what he is talking about. I too fell for this and after I found out it was a scam I put a stop payment on this through my bank. I simply explained to them what happened and they took care of it. You can also explain to them that you were mislead, this is also considered a fraudulent activity, and they will assist you. After about 3 months I received a letter from a collections company stating that I had written Ameritrust Financial a bad check and that I now owed 3 times what I did originally. I explained the situation to them and they did not care, big surprise. I then contacted my states attorney generals office and also the FL attorney generals office and filed a complaint stating a misleading fraudulent company. I contacted the collections company and told them this and conveiently my case was dropped. It takes some time but do not be discouraged

How can you get your funds back, you can't, you authorized it period. No one can take any funds from you just like that. Stop thinking that every company is a scam like others just because it does'nt benefit you. You put yourself in this. Will you go back to your telephone provider, cable, internet, even to your bank because it wasn't for you? ( which you authorized ) It doesn't make sense!!! You apply for a loan regardless of the $$$, they ask you for 150- 450 upfront before they pull your credit based on your stated application than once verified, YOU ARE REFUSED for many reasons than you ask for your $$$ back. Never going to happen. ( where do you think you live ) The point I'm trying to make is you wanted to build up your credit, right? So what changed your mind? Complaint's get you in a position that might work against you, don't be surprised if AmeriTrust files a complaint against you. Judgements are more thought over than any $$$$ value. My suggestion is as follow's, get a list of every corp that help's you build up credit if you want to do that. (KEYWORD IF YOU WANT TO DO THAT) check their fee's etc,, all the good things, than go to your local attorney and see what he/she can do to help you build up your credit, hand's up you will say I can't afford that!!! Does that make sense to you?
