I am a victim of post-traumatic stress disorder and I was seeking treatment. I researched the internet for renowned psychologist who specialize in PTSD and stumbled onto Dr. Anne Speckhard. Her notoriety as a psychologist for PTSD seemed impressive. She has appeared on several media channels and co-authored several books, promoting herself as an expert on PTSD. Thankfully, I looked past Dr. Anne Speckhards fame and found out she has taken advantage of several patients.
She is known for getting her patients to sign a contract relinquishing them of most of their rights, so she can write fabricated books about them for profit. What kind of psychologist takes advantage of a patient during their weakest moments? I should have complained about Dr. Anne Speckhard a year ago, to warn others about her motives. I apologize to anyone who has become a victim to this media hog. I hope other victims will step forward and tell their story, so they can prevent her from destroying others’ lives. She is also known for fabricating a person’s situation in order to sell her books. Anne Speckhards book ratings appear to be falsified on Amazon and other online book stores.
