Their website looks so professional, their story sounds so friendly, I thought for sure they were legit.
I decided to add to my initial order a few minutes later, so I emailed Anthony's Beehive to ask if they could consolidate the shipping. Tony Schwager wrote me back quickly, and said, sure, here is the free shipping code to add to your second order. So I placed the second order and added the shipping code where it was supposed to go.
Two days later my credit card was charged two bills, with a total of $18 shipping charges, which is really high, considering what I had purchased. They didn't apply the free shipping code like he said they would.
Five days after I ordered, I wondered why there was no delivery notice. I saw the BBB notices about the company on Google. Then I wrote Tony Schwager, and told him that if he didn't either deliver my items, give me a tracking number, or refund my money in two weeks, I would file a complaint with my credit card company and declare the transaction fraud. I received no response. Two weeks later, I sent him another message, telling him he had 24 hours to give me a tracking number or my money back, and no response. Three weeks after they took my money, I disputed the charges. Still no response from Anthony's Beehive.
I would have been more sympathetic if someone had written me and said, "we're a small family business swamped by holiday orders, we'll deliver your items within three weeks, or by Christmas," or something like that. But there was NO ANSWER AT ALL, once they got my money. They were quick to answer questions before I placed my order!

Tony Schwager didn't contact me until after the Ripoff Report was posted, and the credit card company refunded me my money from the dispute. I firmly believe that if I hadn't made a stink about it on the internet and to my bank, nothing would continued to happen. However, Anthony's Beehive did refund the money to the credit card company, so as of today, I am not out anything.

I believe everything this customer wrote to be true. I also have been ripped off by Anthony's Beehive and just like them cannot get any kind of response either by phone or email. My first email to Tony Schwager came with a quick reply stating just what I wanted to hear, "they were sorry for the shortage and would take care of it right away." Well guess what, it has been 3 weeks and still nothing. I have sent several emails and have left voice messages. Anthony's Beehive voice mail message says to call during certain central daylight hours so I tried that, no luck. So, their response to this customer is the same nonsense they gave me, NO ANSWER AT ALL.

We fill hundreds of orders and are a legitimate company devoid of any intent to rip-off our customers. If the customer who filed this report will please contact me at 762-BEEHIVE or tony@anthonys beehive.com, we will resolve this immediately. It is clearly the result of an oversight on our part. Meanwhile, I will try to figure out who this customer is and contact them directly. Respectfully Submitted, Tony Schwager.
