Anthro Group You won a $39,000 Home Improvement Grant. Just contact us to get started! New York New York
We received this letter stating we had won this grant for home improvements. It came with a $3980 check that was to be cashed to pay for taxes and fees. We tried to cash it but it was returned by our bank for insufficient funds in their account.
We were so hopeful that it was real. We called the number listed and talked to our "representative" Natasha Brown, Jenniffer Hayes or Tony Robinson. Jenniffer stated that it was imposible for the check to be returned. We also got charged from our own bank for a return fee. OUCH!
As if we didn't have enough issues with money in this country these people are realy preying on peoples hopes of doing a little better for themselves.
What realy got me is they used many porular names of companies that we all use on a daily basis including Microsoft, IBM, Publishers Clearing house, Readers Digest and Home Depot. That's what made this whole thing seem legit. Do these large companies know that they are being used in this manner by a bunch of crooks?
