First of all, file a fraud complaint to your credit card company immediately, and follow up with a dispute of the charge when it shows up on your statement. Second, NEVER click on any link in any "pop up" from an unconfirmed source. This is just plain stupid. Windows has a security feature that allows you to block all pop ups, I suggest you learn how to use it. Third, NEVER get on the internet even 1 time without FIRST having a GOOD antivirus program on your computer. Do you not have one already? If so, why would you click on a pop up wanting to sell you another one? Fourth, NEVER give personal information or credit card / banking info to ANYONE on the internet without FIRST verifying EXACTLY who they are. There are many ways to quickly and easily check someone out and verify whether of not they are a legitimate business entity. Fifth, and most important. Just use common sense! I know this is a VERY rare commodity these days, but try. Now that you have been educated a little, let me tell you that the "Antivirus 2009" program you accessed is a MALICIOUS PROGRAM and your computer is now infected. Go to another computer that has not accessed that program and look it up at Norton, Mcaffee, AVG, etc. Learn what it is exactly, and get the info on how to remove it. DO NOT get on the internet on the infected computer again until you do! Your personal and financial information is now compromised. Have fun! But beware what you click on!
