AOL Violates Terms of Service, Violates users rights, allows users to be continually harassed on a daily basis, and DOES NOT CARE ripoff Philadelphia Pennsylvania
Everyone who has ever been violated in some way by AOL should consider getting involved in a lawsuit against aol for all monies to be returned for not doing anything about online harassment by other members who are clearly abusing terms of service!
My instance is 3 yrs now dealing with an individual who is harassing a group of women, stealing baby pictures, posting them on porn sites, repeatedly saying how she wishes babies would die and lay cold in the ground, has performed criminal acts by promoting adoption of her baby to many women at once then not adopting out then stealing money, etc. the list is very long- suprised she is not in jail- AOL advertises that it's safe- Far from it! That's false advertising as well

I have been using AOL for about 12 years and have never had trouble with them not responding to any TOS or harrassment. FIrst off, why it is AOL's fault if this person is selling her bby? that is a police matter. Why would you put up with stuff for 3 years. ALl you have to do is block her emails or chat rooms. ANd if youa re in a chat room and you are harrassed jsut click on the report member button. YOu have to be proactive. You can not expect ANY isp to be 100% safe. There ARE safeguards, but you ahve to use them, they dont magically appear. YOu never were very specific about what the person was doing to you on AOL that is against tos.
