AON Via Verizon Phone Bills AON SCAMMING on VERIZON phone bills~Residence & Businesses too-$744 + PHILLIPINES Nationwide
When visiting NYC in April, I stayed with a dear friend of mine. Upon realizing that she had ATT phone service, I convinced her to switch to Verizon. Since her switching to Verizon, and the package she was eligible for, her phone bills have lowered considerably. Then last month, she noticed/found fees on her bill from AON. It was only $7.83. (but she knew that this was NOT her usage). It took her many hours to resolve this.
She has since had Verizon put a BLOCK on her phone against this happening again. We can ALL have this BLOCK added to our phone lines. When my friend went to work the next day (after finding these fees were a SCAM), she asked her boss (also her friend) to look at his phone bill for any charges from AON. "YES". Adding up to $744+ were BOGUS PHONE FEES from AON!!! - over a 2 year period. Her BOSS never knew what this was & assumed it was a VALID charge from Verizon.
I want everyone I KNOW to scrutinize their phone bills so this SCAM ARTIST company cannot tack on a bill for something that NEVER took place. WHO is going to do something about this SCAM company? There has got to be agencies that can protect innocent victims from this type of ILLEGAL billing practice. I hope this warns others to LOOK on your PHONE bill for this SCAM phone company "AON". If you see charges from them, call your local company for HELP. Sincerely,
