I applied for loans online and was contacted by Emma Kyle from Apex Lending Group telling me I was approved for a $10,000 loan. She informed me that I would have to pay a $1295 collateral that would be reimbursed after six months of making all my payments.

This sounded kinda fishy but the documents she e-mailed me looked legit, so I filled them out and sent them back. Internet searches didn't come up with anything relating this company to a scam.

I was told to send the money via Western Union to a MARIE KEELING and was told to tell them the money was for "personal reasons". They told me I would have the loan in my account six hours after sending the money.

When the 4pm deadline had passed I called back and they told me my account was on hold because they had just found out (after getting my money) that other agencies had approved me for a loan. They wanted me to send another $1900 as a premium for them to insure the loan and go after these other agencies. At this point I knew they were scamming me and I told them to just send me my money back.

I was told it would take 10-15 days to get my money back. I am pretty sure I will never see that money again.

The only thing that surprises me about this is that it is still going on.......

Unfortunately you can kiss that money good-bye. You will not see it again and don't be surprised if by next week the phone number is out-of-service. I was scammed last October by another group and the pattern rings true here. In the future for anyone who reads this look out for two things -- one if they tell you they need insurance (collateral) payments or if they tell you to send the money to Canada via Moneygram or Western Union.
