When I talked with the UOP counselor we went over my internet connection. I have a built in broad band, and at home it has one to two green lines on the access strength monitor. I did not know that would mean that often I would loose my connection.  The instructors do not have any plan for students that have computer trouble. If we're over the drop date. All is averaged together. The first class, I had straight A's averaged to a C.



Before the 2nd class, I bought their Office Suite for 91% off. It was stated to have AP style. It does not have a way to place the headings with 3 words and then the page number in the upper right of the paper, there is no way to easily make the hanging referencess, and when I made adjustments it would leave odd spacing between lines. There was one paper assigned on the same day it was due, and I had internet trouble so I had to send it the next day. That's one letter grade off. When the software evaluated it, I received a D for bad format.



The instructor noted that my writing was good. I think I'll need another two posts to cover the rest of the troubles.  I am so relieved to be out of the program and hope that if I go to another grad program they will see they should overlook any grades from UOP.
