I purchased an iphone 6 plus on an upgrade from my carrier only to find that the phone was inferior and not functional. I have never been able to receive calls on the phone since I switched over from the prepaid plan that I was extremely happy with four Somebody needs to eat the IPhone 6 plus and it shouldn't be me!

You say that your phone was NEVER able to receive any calls. Okay, did you contact your carrier? What did they say? Since it was "never" able to receive calls and if it was the phone the carrier would replace it under warranty. If you are saying that they refused to help you either you are leaving something out or perhaps your report should be on the carrier.
As for the cracked phone. That is classic.."Whopps I dropped it" breakage. It has nothing to do with the quality and there is no guarantee that had you had a different phone that if it was dropped in the exact same way that the outcome would not be any different.
