I worked for Apple Unlimited in Columbia, SC. I was very excited about the management training program and working with DARE America. However about 2 weeks into the buisness I noticed something about the Manager Dave Apple, he is a drug addict. And were not talking about just a lil bit of pot here and there, he is a full blown COKE ADDICT!!!! The worst part is he works with DARE AMERICA!!!!! How can you help out a charity that helps to keep kids off drugs when you do drugs!!!! Makes No Sense!!! And it is disgusting!!! Someone needs to put a stop to this!!!!! My husband feared for my safety being exposed to a man like DAVE APPLE! He also has sex with everyone in his office and has no standards as to who he will sleep with!!!!! The Oppurtinity was great however I could not sit back and have someone tell me what to do who was obviously sniffing cocaine on a daily basis and no one seemed to want to do anything about it! It was obvious to me so I am sure that other people knew as well but everyone acted like it didn't exsist!!! There were a couple girls who told me that they were "dating" Dave and I didnt get how they didn't know that he was just using all of them. It was very sad to see!! DO NOT APPLY FOR APPLE UNLIMITED!! Not because it's a scam but because the Manager DAVE APPLE IS A FULL BLOWN COKE ADDICT AND A PIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fed up in carolina Columbia, South Carolina

They STEAL from Non-Profits

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Well, Apple has moved to NC, they use many names and I too trained for a few hours and they ABSOLUTLY steal from non-profits. I too was told to dress "professionally" and went to work in front of some small mall store and watched as their sales person tried to sell absolute JUNK under the name of American Cancer Society and put all the original materials from the American Cancer Society in a small box away from their merchandise. when customers asked what we were selling, we were to sell them a coupon book or something like a "free vacation" and told them their purchse would support American Cancer Society. I worked for MANY-MANY Non-Profit groups and I was SURE none of this money was going to American Cancer so I left.

I asked about the reports on Apple Unlimited and the rep said not to worry about them. Once I got into the company for a couple of days, it was revealed by other employees that to protect their companies interest, they made up fake accounts on Rip Off Report with phony emails because the original report was fake and hurt their business. I am not sure if they were agreeing with what I was asking or if they were being honest. I could never tell with my contact there.

Now I dont know if the original report is legitimate though. But from my interview experience, I found that Apple Unlimited is set up as a pyramid scheme. Now I did not know all this till I actually got dropped off at an 'event' and was left out there with a table of merchandise. The pieces started to come together. Your management track is based on you getting people to work for your. Kind of like how Mary Kay works.

Now this isnt a bad opportunity for someone who has interest in this field of work, but Apple Unlimited does not disclose this to their prospective employees. They also do not disclose that their DARE donations collected are minus their expenses. Which again is fine if thats what the business is.

I have a job, and I was just looking for a little extra income. Looked like a good bet till I saw that I would be hawking merchandise in front of a Mall or Bobcats Arena. And I dont like the concept of getting my pay out of a 'donation' to DARE. Just didnt feel right. I will also say that the gentleman I saw around the office didnt look professional, but I cant confirm if he was on drugs or even the same person.

Goodluck in your career if you choose this path, it can probably be very exciting and fruitful for the right person. If your looking for a real marketing internship, entry level job or management career track, do your research. When I got my job, the interview process was clear and the company was clear and answered my questions.

-Just being honest.

This company has gone by several different names for the past several years in Columbia, SC. It's even moved offices a couple of times. I felt that it was a legitimate company at first when they called me, told me they found my resume on career builder, monster or some similar site that I had placed my resume on. I was at first sort of skeptical when I met with a guy named "Dave Apple" and I was sort of confused as to why "Triple M Events" was not anywhere to be found on the front of the bulding or the sign.

Turns out that this company is constantly changing its name due to the fact that more and more people figure out its a rip-off so word spreads. I was given a 5-10 minute interview, got some nearly memorized/rehearsed answers to my questions and was sent on my way after meeting with Dave. Being told that I would hear from them soon. That AFTERNOON they called me back and offered me a "job". No discussion of benefits, paperwork, pay, or anything. They just told me to come back the next morning and I would attend an "event" with some guy who was younger than I was and had been "working" there for 3 weeks or so to see if it was what I wanted to do and I would get some good "training".

Now this is where it gets strange. I came back the next morning, prepared to be ready for this "event" which I thought we would be meeting with a client or something. I was told to dress professionally (shirt and tie in my case) and be there around 7:30am or so. I show up, help some guy with a little rice burner and a crappy exhaust system load up a table and some toys and crap into his car and were were off to attend this "event"......in front of a CVS pharmacy across town. We stood there for HOURS while I watched this guy and some chick who showed up later try to "push" this crappy merchandise that supposedly was going to help the D.A.R.E. program on a 90+ degree summer day. Turns out D.A.R.E. gets very little of the profit. Triple M events (or insert their name of the month here) gets nearly all of the proceeds and the people "selling" this crap get an even smaller cut while also doing something that I feel is unethical and immoral.

When I asked where/who gets this "donated" merchandise this kid couldn't even tell me where they took it to. He just said that somebody from the DARE program came and picked it up. He didn't even know which police/Sheriff's dept ran the DARE program. The guy I worked with was TOTALLY brainwashed. Heck, I was told in my INTERVIEW with Dave Apple that this is not a pyramid scheme. Well, I hate to break it to you, Dave, and all of your "followers" but........IT IS. Any "job" that you have where you get no reimbursement for mileage while driving your OWN CAR to various places for your JOB is not a job that is going to take you very far.

I'm too smart for that. Apparently, this guy I "shadowed" with wasn't. I don't even remember the kid's name but he wasn't even in college yet and he told me that he was home schooled in Chapin, SC. This kid drove from CHAPIN, which is 20-30 mins away everyday to work at a job that he would make less than minimum wage at. He told me that he felt that this job was "fun" and that every once in a while they would take "business trips" to Charlotte, Charleston or Savannah and would go with a group of people. He told me that usually they all shared a hotel room to save money or they would "crash" at some dude's apartment if somebody had a friend in the area.

I don't know about you but in my book that's borderline if not TOTALLY CULT BEHAVIOR. Apparently this "Dave" guy would pay for their hotel room every once in a while and give them some gas money if they had to drive "really far." After attending this "event" and feeling extremely guilty about ripping people in Columbia off I decided that I would not be attending anymore "events". May God have mercy on your soul, Dave Apple.

I do not know anything about these drug allegations but I can honestly say it would not surprise me.  If you're looking to get into "marketing" or "management,"  I'd suggest you go to school, get an education and then start from the ground up.  Any place that says you can make 6 figures in a year is totally absurd.  If you think the opportunity is too good to be true, then it probably is.  Wake up people.  If you want to give money to the D.A.R.E. Program, you're better off writing them a check directly.  I'm ashamed that the D.A.R.E program allows this company to be affiliated with them.

If Dave wasn't worried about his reputation he would not be on this website defending his "practices."  Search anything having to do with Quantum Events, USA or any of these other "company" names in Columbia:  PHI Promotions, Triple M Events, Class V Promotions, 3 Kings Marketing, Genesis Creative Media Production & Marketing, B.I.G. Results or Apple Unlimited, Inc.  Most of them even have websites........but the exact same phone # and the same address.

Do your homework and don't fall for this crap.  I'm glad I didn't.

I have known Dave Apple for going on 2 years. I cant even begin to count how many ways he has helped me. He has helped me financially given me a place to live and a career that I could never have any were else.  He only has others best interest at heart and lives to help others better their lives... I am proof of that. I have never seen him do drugs and I live in his home! I honestly believe that this comments have been made by people that could not cut it in our business and are blaming it on him for their failure! He is a hard working man that is very successful and does not deserve these comments and slanders.

I didn't pay attention to what the guys were saying about him because he had just putme up in his apartment. The only reason he did that was because he wanted to get in my girls pants. He even told her he had a job for her and when he found out she ws pregnant with my child, he told her to get an abortion. Right after that he told me the same thing . He also told e that if I don't send her home i wouldn't have a Job.... So yeah, now I can believe that he does that. His own Guys said he tried to buy from them...

The accusations made against David apple are untrue! I am an ex-employee who had spent the last year and a half with mr apple at apple unlimited. Through my time there, not only did I see mr apple at the office, I also spent a lot of time with him outside of it as well. The entire time I have known him I have never had any reason to believe that he was addicted or even doing drugs. I owe him for a lot of coaching and experience that i gained from being one of his employees. I believe the accusations made against mr apple were made out of anger and should not be taken seriously. I was sad to leave apple unlimited due to my recent relocation. I hope to continue to have a friendship with David apple.

I want to start off by addressing whoever wrote this report against a friend/co-worker/boss/role model that I am so sorry for the feelings you have against him. We all hope that we can handle and conduct business in professional manners. We have worked so hard to utilize our business in a professional manner and wishing everyone the best of luck that does not go thru with our program and our great opportunity here at Apple Unlimited, Inc. Obviously not everyone can properly deal with rejection of a great opportunity such as this. I have known him for over 4 years and I have never had an encounter with him that was shameful, hurtful, or where I was being disrespected and not once have I watched him disrespect another human being. He works very hard towards his goals. Making this opportunity available for others to be apart of working with great organizations that we do and helping the communities in return. I wish for people that have a problem with someone not to involve their personal matters on a site such as this to try to destroy another human beings' personal and professional life. If anyone else reads this and decides based on this persons actions that we, as a company, are not a great fit then I am truly sorry we did not have the chance to meet and wish you all the luck in the world.

Dear Readers, I was appalled when I read this report on Dave Apple, with Apple Unlimited. I am a former employee of Apple Unlimited and now currently, I am a manger of my own location and I want to share a different experience. Working with the Dare America Program has been nothing but rewarding and fulfilling. Also want to add that working for Dave Apple has been just the same experience. He is an honest, caring, hard workingman. He puts his employees first before he thinks about himself in any type of away. I have been working with Dave Apple for a long while and not once did drugs ever come into play or did I ever suspect drugs were being used. Mr. Apple is a very honorable man and he is true to his word. He has provided a company that can advance a person career. I owe all my current and future success to Dave Apple from his coaching and mentoring. This attack I read is wrong, inappropriate, highly fictional and to be honest is a bunch of uneducated rambling non sense. I hope in the future this website is used for only real complaints and concerns, not used for personal attacks. To those reading these reports. I hope that one would make their own opinion with a personal experience instead of taking someone's word serious on these ridiculous reports. I come from a place of business and now realize that it is impossible to make everyone happy. Please take this report for exactly what it is, which is unhappy person that is still unemployed with so much time on their hands, that instead of trying to find their way in life they TRY to ruin other peoples success and reputation to make themselves feel better. Good Luck in the Future...

I have worked with Dave for several years and he is a genuine person. Nobody is perfect but I know that he is not a coke addict. The dare officers would not have that!! I have never seen him do ANYTHING like that before. His problem is he actually is too nice sometimes by loaning people money, helping people get apartments, buying people cars and much more because he doesn't like people to struggle in life. It's sad that someone would only want to ANNOUNCE what they heard but not actually seen!! What about all the good he does?? Dave has a good heart and has a great business and people will follow him anywhere because he is a man of his word! Like the note says...the opportunity is great, so anyone reading it should judge it themselves! Best wishes! Business Partner!

I am getting sick and tired of people bad mouthing and putting down Mr. Dave Apple. He is a dear friend and only wants his own success in life just like others. Dave is not a bad man nor a bad manager, in fact, he has helped me grow in numerous ways in order to further my own success. Lets be honest here and say that no one is indeed perfect and everybody has flaws...however, I can personally guarantee that he is not a coke addict. Dave is very passionate about the DARE program and the major depths of just what this organization can provide to not only the U.S. but also the world. I am sorry if this person felt they were done wrong in any way, but anyone can tell you that this is a business that is learned and hardly understood within a week or so. ...this person seems very uniformed and on a hot streak if you ask me... Beyond that, please don't go and try to ruin someone else's situation that they are trying to build-Dave is a extraordinarly deep man that is only trying to build his and succeed in life. Don't you think helping each other to work towards reaching a common goal is what is important here? If the person that posted this report reads this...I only wish you your success in life, but good karma and your blessings won't reach you while bad-mouthing others. Good luck. #12REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, January 26, 2009

Obviously this report was written by an unhappy ex-employee. I'm sorry that your experience with my company wasn't as pleasurable as you hoped. You are accusing me of being a drug addict while my client is the DARE program. Wouldn't you think that a program like the DARE program would have us go through a complete back ground check before they would sign a contract with my company? I background check all my employees. I have even gone as far as running random drug screens for my employees as well as myself. Yes I have taken one as resent as this month Jan 09. I would have hoped you would have had evidences before you would try to damage my reputation on a website such as this. I am a man of intergrity and run a business to provide a pure opportunity for individuals to advance and service such great clients as DARE and other national charities. The success of my business is determined on how well I can lead people by being the right example in my life and in my business. Drugs would be extremely damaging to that mission. Unfortunately you have taken information about my personal relations and formed an opinion of me as a pig or dirt bag. I'm sorry that we never built that relationship strong enough for you to know who I am. I'm sure you would think differently if you knew me better. For the readers of this report. If this report discourages you from researching more about me and my company, that's a shame. Good luck in your search for a career. I would still like the opportunity for you to form your own opinion. Sincerly, Dave Apple
