Well i did make it to district that was with the help of my mom cousin and grandmother each spending 1,000 out of there pocket along with myself spending that much and then the next month I was trying to be better WAS ANYONE THERE TO HELP ME???? NOPE SURE WAS NOT!!! So I tried by myself and did I make it NO.... i lost all the money we made and then some?!?!? i like how my UP LINE was wanting to run a christian base business and I was in a fraud and lost more money than I should have ever put into this and My mother this is what makes me mad she works 40 hours a week and had my brother in physical therapy for surgery that he had to have on his leg TENDON LENGHing and they STILL PRESSURED her to come to meetings when she had a child at home in a body cast... And then my cousin was doing good with her down line and my upline decides she is not moving fast enough?!?! And calls her downline to pressure them one girl just had a mis carriage told them this and the still pressured her to do as much as POSSIBLE?!?! Excuse me for worrying about my downlines feelings over YOUR money!!!! No offense against Arbonne I love the products still use them WILL NEVER PUT ANY EFFORT toward my up line EVER again!!!! I stopped being a consultant because of the Christian element

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

I became very turned off when I was an Arbonne consultant and stopped selling the products because of the hardcore Christian undertones to this business. I'm not a practicing Christian but am a spiritual person. I don't need to be lectured about going to Hell on a conference call - totally inappropriate! I also think the company is very "white-based" and don't think they are open-minded to other cultures infiltrating their very "white Americana" based company. I love the products and continue to use the products - they are fantastic products. However, every conference call I was on made me feel very turned off because it was all about God and how "God" was helping you build your Arbonne business. I think religion and business should be completely separate. Because of this Christian based stance, I believe they are going to alienate a lot of people who could actually be great consultants (myself included). I stepped away from the business because of this very reason and won't return. I was misled by the claims they made. I gave Arbonne the benefit of the doubt when I signed up with them but they disappointed me and think they are a biased, discriminatory company who only seek "Christians only." No thanks!

What is this supposed to be about?

I have to admit I did not understand upline, downline whatever the heck was supposed to be going on here. What I DO know is if someone is approaching me telling me I can make a lot of money AT HOME in a CHRISTIAN business, I am going to RUN AWAY from that SCAM as fast as I can go. Sounds like a Pyramid scheme to me. The moment I hear Profitable, Christian home-based business, I know there's a lie and a scam there somewhere. I don't know why the biggest crooks have to hide behind the LIE that they are Christian.

Why it should be considered a problem with the company

The reason this is a problem with arbonne and not the upline is that arbonne, as a company, should be catching these problems and corecting them. I have heard little about arbonne for a year or so which means they might be doing a better job but it still seems many in arbonne are content to try and sell the business opportunity rather than the products. This practice is very dangerous and add to that that the true cost of ownership (in both money and time) seems to be glossed over when someone is introduced to the opportunity, it gets very close to illegal. Personally I would be wary of stradling the letter of the law so closely.

your complaint is regarding your personal upline, not Arbonne

If you want to make a difference with your complaint, why not report this behavior to your upline's upline, or their upline, or Arbonne itself. You admit that you still love the products, so why come to a public forum to sully the company reputation when your problem is with specific independent consultants? If you had taken advantage of the numerous free support resources that Arbonne provides, you would realize that her behavior, or even the behavior of the entire team that you were on, was divergent from the company culture and expected behaviors.

I am an Independent Consultant

Dear K, I had a similar experience with my sponsor. I felt betrayed and I felt that I was the biggest idiot to have believed in this person. Luckily, I had met other Consultants and I saw how their sponsors were. TOTALLY different, you know what? I told her how I felt, I am not her enemy, but I decided to work directly with my VP. I decided to join Arbonne because I am tired of corporate America. I do not need a manager, for the last 20 years I have been a Manager, Supervisor, and Employee. I need a sponsor, a guide. Now I got more than one. I do not need someone checking up on me, when I have a question, I call one of them. The same with my team, I keep in contact with them, but I am not big brother. I share as much as I can, but what might work with me, it doesn't necessarily have to work for them. I encouraged them to meet others in the business and to learn about MLM. Perhaps I will not get to the top as fast as others, perhaps I will, one thing I know, I am not bullying anybody into anything. I believe in Arbonne, and I want that whomever buys the products or decides to join me as a business partner is because they made an educate decision. I hope this helps you.

Is the problem Arbonne or you upline?

I sounds to me that your problem is the pressure put on you by your upline. I don't hear fraud. I hear tactical difference in the approach your upline took that convinced you to spend more than you could afford in the hope of increasing your level. This seems to be an unfair criticism of the organization as a whole.
