Architect's Inn - Newport, Rhode Island The Architect's Inn in Newport Rhode Island has MICE! Newport Rhode Island
The Architect's Inn that also goes by the name The Architect’s Inn- George Champlin Mason House or 1873 Architect's Inn has MICE! We didn't see one mouse - we saw dozens of mice. The mice were not only in our room but they were on the grounds, in the parking lot, on the stairs, in our room, in the living room, and in the kitchen. There were even mouse droppings in our room and in the shower that's down the hall. When we told the owners - Brian and Nick Malone - their response was that this was the country and some field mice are common. Newport, Rhode Island is not the country, and I prefer to not have mice in a Bed and Breakfast or Inn where I'm staying. When we told Nick and Brian Malone that we could not stay there and asked for our money returned, they flat out refused. When we said that we were going to report this to TRIP ADVISOR, they told us to leave the Architect's Inn immediately and that if we didn't, they'd call the police. These innkeepers - Nick and Brian Malone are insane! I would worry about our safety if we stayed there.
