My wife and I bought our home in July of 2015, actually she did all the heavy lifting as I am currenlty serving my 21st year of active duty in the United States Navy and at the time of purchase I was on delpoyment stationed in the country of Bahrain.

Everything is great with the house and our situation up until about four months ago when my laminate floors started moving under my feet. I immediatly contacted Ryland Homes which is now CalAtlantic homes and was told that I would have someone come out immediately and look at the issue.

The CalAtlantic member arrived and stated that the seperation I have in my flooring is the worst he has evr seen and that there have been almost a third of the homes in my neighborhood plagued by the same issue with Armstrong flooring. From there I had to get the installer (Charlotte Flooring) to put in a formal claim to the producer of the product, Armstrong. Charlotte Flooring, after a lot of back and forth or he said / she said finally agreed to put in the claim to Armstrong so we could get an Armstrong representative out to my house and inspect the floors.

Well that is where this issue has stopped. Armstrong will not return any of my emails or calls and I am left with an un-safe moving floor under my feet and the feet of my four daughters and wife. My little girl has since hurt her knee due to the floor moving underneith her when she was running around playing. This is inexcusable, Armstrong Flooring not standing behind thier own warranty and refusing to even comment on my emails/phone calls is not the way anyone should be treated.
