Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I was an agent with Armstrong Transport Group for about 3 years. My wife was stricken with cancer and production slowed a bit and while I was with my wife in the hospital for 10 weeks, some dispatchers did minor things wrong. Our relationship was severed WITHOUT the contracted 30 day written notice. I was also supposed to get Load Posting boards for free according to our contract... I was made to pay for them also, AFTER I had already left my other company.

On Dec. 10th 2013 I was supposed to recieve a final deposit of approx. 750.00 for loads that I did, processed and delivered for Armstrong and now they are refusing to pay me... right before Christmas I might ad. I have e-mails from Chris Cobb stating the money will be deposited and it has not been. Now Armstrong is saying that due to a complaint that was filed with YOUR company over a year ago as the reason. Our contract calls for disputes to be handled within 30 days. Not 13 months. They had no problem until we terminated. Now Chris Cobb is ignoring my calls and e-mails.

Here are the e-mails

it will be there tomorrow.

I understand Chris, I am not concerned about the boards because as you know I have the same boards myself, yours were used for your freight so I didn’t need them, that was not the point... the point was that you didn’t even respect our working relationship enough to even call me and warn me, no notice at all, just boom! I’m down. Than you give it to another agent who is using MY tenders and years of my work. Even our contract, Section 1. calls for a 30 day written notice. I didn’t get 30 minutes. Not to mention Section 3. Item C. ... I paid for my boards. Now when we spoke and you told me of all this I simply went back and told my people and also instructed them to direct any calls to your HQ, and NEVER EVER SAY ANYTHING bad about another company. That is my standing order and it will be followed. I was just going to carry on with business and all of a sudden it appears you are trying to find reasons not to pay what you truly owe, that ticks me off. I just wanted to walk away and forget it. I have enough trouble in my life with my wife dying. I didn’t want anymore. Look, just deposit what we have coming so I can pay it to my people and lets part ways. I don’t think that is too much to ask...do you?

I'm saying that this issue, which I do remember and thought was put to bed, doesn't appear to be... as they are still pretty ticked about a $3200 shortpay. I was attempting to work out some kind of settlement with the carrier (to remove the report) which would have effected the profit of that load which would have altered the settlement for this week.

It doesn't look like there will be any settlement however. So it shouldn't effect you.

We decided to switch our partnership last week and left you access to both MaxFr8 and the boards because you had freight on the road. As of today all of that should have been delivered. So there's no need for either MaxFr8 or the boards. So both were shut down.

As you can see, Armstrong pays it bills and settles in full with its Agents. Its unfortunte tha David Pichuskie didn't have the patience to wait 1 week while we closed out his account before posting this negative review.
