I got a call from arrow finanacial and they said they bought my debt from the bank of Marin and so i had to pay them. so i paid them what i could 10 dollars a month but when i got the bills they charghed me interest of 10 dollars a month so i would be paying for my whole life

You should never have taken their word for anything. You should have written to them, certified mail, return receipt requested, and demanded verification of the debt. You made a mistake in paying them anything before you got a verification of the debt and the actual amount. Do a search on Rip-Off Report for Collection Agencies and Arrow Financial to see how to handle past due debts properly.
