Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I broke a PRE-MOLAR (the Dr. corrected me with a smug look) on January 19th, 2018. I let it go for 2 days in pain. Finally, I called ASAP Dental Care because I couldn't take it until Monday the 22nd. I was first sent a text by an answering service. The person on the other end said that the location on 103rd was open until 6. I told the lady on the phone that I had $300 to get my tooth pulled. She said, "We will be able to get you taken care of". I was a little on edge because of the pain from my tooth but I still drove the 45 min. When I got there they were busy watching the Jaguars play in the AFC Championship. I waited for an hour (with an appointment) and still didn't receive any information about the process or how much it was going to cost. I kept asking the front desk lady for information. She just kept saying they would be with me in a moment. Finally, she called me back and asked for $88 to be seen. I handed her $100 and she said she didn't have any change. She said she would credit my account.

When I was finally called back, it was rush here rush there. Still no information. They took x-rays of my teeth. When the dentist came in he was there for about 30 seconds. He looked at my xray and said "You have a broken tooth, it needs to be pulled" (no kidding). Then he proceeds to tell me that I have to meet with someone else to go over my options. I reminded both of them (dentist and nurse) that I came with $300. Nobody came to talk to me and people were whispering and talking about me like I wasn't there. I finally told my wife that we were leaving. I waited another 20 min for the guy to come tell me how much it was going to cost.

I stood up and started to leave. Everyone started to panic and offer me ice packs to try and keep me there.

I walked out and my wife stayed to ask how much to pull the tooth. My wife got to the car and said you have to pay another $277 in full today, to get your tooth pulled. I didn't have that, and they knew it before I started to their location.

I want my $100 back.

Thanks
