Asap Van Lines Moving & Storage, Personal belongings stolen by moving company like our computer ,identity theft. Niles Illinois
We went with a asap van lines moving company for our move from illinois to california back in october of 2007, we paid a holding fee and pickup fee to start the process which cost me $ 650.00 then they stored our things for a month in a half. Delivery was december 14,07 we had 93 boxes one of which was a computer we paid that company a total of $1493.00 for the move and when we got our boxes back my computer was stolen they ripped the box from both ends and left me with the monitor. my dishes were broken and my movie collection gone.
That company asap van lines told us in a letter they are not responsible or liable for lost,damage,or stolen property we have also received calls from them about other people missing their property they have been reported several times. However nothing is being done about this company and our identity is all at risk with our computer being stolen.
Tell me how does asap van lines have a good record with the better business bureau and yet people have complain to the bureau several times about them. We also called to talk to a manager and they said they would call us back we would be compensated for our loss plus we sent in pictures of the damage they did and nothing,
finally i just want to let everyone in the world know never use this company asap van lines because they get paid to steal your personal belongings and are backed by the better business bureau who should be shutting them down.
