ASC - America Servicing Company refinance is a joke Des Moines Iowa
Our mortgage was purchased by ASC from our original lender. After making 3 years of fixed rate payments out of our 5 year agreement ASC insisted our rate was going up. We supplied multiple pages of our purchase agreement and was told that instead of involving an attorney they would renegotiate our mortgage fixed for 30 years. The process took over 9 months and we had to give them 3 months of the new amount and an additional $10560 and they added another $25,822 to our loan. We were NEVER behind in our payments. EVER! After 5 weeks of the new payments we were given another increase of $2427 per month saying they were adding our property taxes into our loan past due and future even though most of that was supposed to be in the additional $25,822 added to the loan. After contacting them we were never told what the additional amount was for, but told the taxes were added as could be required. This company has taken our lives away. Obviously, we could not afford an additional $2427 on top of the additional amount for the fixed rate. This is an incredible scam and someone needs to stop them.
