I am negotiating (or trying to) a short sale on my property in Virginia. I have an offer and need bank approval for this sale. I have called daily and have submitted paperwork by fax DAILY to ASC and they will not communicate with me. When I try to call, I am put on hold -last time was 50 minutes- and my realtor was on hold for 1 1/2 hours today trying to get a response from them. After holding, they transfer you and hang up. This has happened more than 5 times, which certainly cant be an accident!! My property is scheduled for foreclosure on May 18th - 16 days from today! THEY ARE FORCING ME INTO FORECLOSURE. To process a short sale, the borrower has to be late (there goes your credit rating) and the MINUTE I was late (had to be to process the short sale) they sent it to an attorney for processing of a foreclosure. I asked many times for what fees I was charged for this and they still have not provided me that information nor will the attorney. At this point, it seems as if I will have to foreclose as they wont process the short sale. The ironic part is that they are my first morgator and would have been paid in full!
