Ashley Furniture John Malkey, Manager Dishonest, promised a refund for returned mattress. Once returned, he declared he never made that offer. Live Oak Texas
Purchased a Simmons Plush Queen Set mattress on 11/27/2011 with a mattress pad queen platinum for total of $745.79 at Ashley Furn, 7919 Pat Booker Rd, Live Oak, Texas. Used my credit card to pay in full Delivered on 12/03/2011. Box spring and mattress did not match, and was returned. Two others delivered and returned for same reason. Told to talk to certain personnel in Warehouse. Tried, but always received voice mail.
Several months later, Ashley called and said to return mattress and a complete refund would be returned, minus the pad. Was told once mattress was received, store would issue a payment for refund, authorized by Mgr. John Malkey. Spoke with Malkey after mattress returned. He indicated he never authorized refund and to choose another mattress. We had already purchased another mattress elsewhere. I want my money back.
