Ater listing my home with Assist 2 Sell and being promised many things after 4 months my home has not sold and they have done nothing that was promised. There was no advertising, no communication, they never showed my home once and to top it off would not let me cancel my contract so that I could have some one else (who would actually try) sell my home until I paid them! I had to pay them for doing NOTHING! They listed my home in the MLS at a price that was way to high and they new it would never sell at that price only to tell me five times to reduce the price which I did and still nothing! They also printed fliers for me (often with wrong information) and that was it, that was all they did for me period! They caused my home to be viewed as a stale listing by being dishonest just to get me to sign the contract. I should not have had to pay them but it was my only choice to be able to get out of their 9 MONTH contract which I was originally told would be a three month contract! They plain ripped me off! I don't want others to be taken as I have!

I am a agent with assist2 sell in Rome Ga. in response to Debra in Montclair Calif. All Assist 2 Sell agents are licensed and Members of the local, state, and the national board of realtors so her inference that they are not is FALSE and we take our job and Clients seriously and just don't print flyers, and with there being just one negative complaint on Ripoff Report.com which is well known and Debra being so close to the person filing the complaint make me very suspicious. To Kim also in Calif if the wrong info was printed on flyers that is a complaint on the individual Agent that listed your home all offices are locally owned and operated. Assist 2 Sell ONLY GETS PAID IF THE HOME SELLS so it's in Assist 2 sell best interest to sell your home and the home is listed at a price you agree to in writing along with the cancellation fee which is to pay the MLS and yes there is a charge from the MLS you should refer back to your listing contract. I want my homes that I represent to be correctly priced if they don't sell I don't get paid. Also the Duration of your contract is again in writing in your listing contract and you signed it. A home is probable your largest investment if you did not read the contract that is your fault. If you have a Problem with one Agent in a Company as Large as Assist 2 Sell that has been in Business as long as they have been and again with only one complaint on a Ripoff website as read as this one is I believe a Testament of how good to company is. Kim you should contact Hale Martin the president of assist 2 sell at 775-688-6060 and complain about that one agent I am sure he would want to know or contact me and I will get it to him. I will go one better I will contact him myself and have him get in contact with you from your info from your posting

I am sorry that you were ripped off by Assit 2 Sell. I hope now that you and others reading this can see the benefit of hiring a licensed REALTOR to sell your home. I am a local Realtor here in Ca. and I will tell you that there is a lot more to selling a house than just listing it on the MLS and printing flyers. But then you can only expect to get what you pay for. When my clients quibble with me over the commission rate, I let them know that all commissions are NEGOTIABLE, and I will work very hard to earn the money I am requesting. It is very sad that places like this exist and frequently ,us, as Realtors are left to deal with the disgruntled client who has lost many months of valuable market time.If you are not willing to do most of the work yourself-then by all means contact a licensed Realtor to assit you-
