 I bought the extended warranty for our Jann-Air cooktop. It stopped working and I contacted Jenn-Air which got me in touch with Assurant and scheduled an ppt with a 3rd party (Advantage Repair) to come and take a look at the cooktop.  The technician diagnosed the potential issue to be the electronic panel whcih is no longer available and it can only be repaired.  They said this could take a min of 2 wks which is unacceptable for a cooktop since I have 2 little kids (a 2-yr old and a 9-month old).  They also mentioned that the repair would only take 3 days but the issue is the shipping and that it can take up to 7-10 days each way.  The recommended to talk to Assurant and try to have them pay for overnight shipping which would reduce the time to a max of a week and it would be guranteed. 

I called Assurant and spoke to numerous customer service reps (kimberly, employee id didn't provide, John didn't provide employee id) in various offices which were of no help and were extremely rude.  Ia lso talked to 2 supervisors (Kenyatta, emp id 42484 and Derek, no emp id because he hang up the phone in me) and attempted to talk to a team manager who ended up hangign up the phone on me.  When I called back to ask why another supervisor (Precious, emp id 403847) wasn't even willing to tlak to me. I have never talked to a rudest group of people. Their supervisor have no authority over anyone or anything.  They just have the title. Many of them are also not willing to provide you with their information including correct name or employee id.

The overnight charge is $75 which I would be willing to pay out of my own pocket if they would gurantee me that this would fix my cooktop.  The technician is not sure if that will solve the problem. So if I need more parts I would have to keep paying for overnight delivery until they do fix my cooktop if that ever happens. They also cant tell me how long they will be "trying" to fix it until they give up and either replace it or tell me that they can't do anything with it. Very disapointing.

Well well I was expecting this.  It is obvious that these people that you mentioned make minium wage because this is all that they are capable of (that is even too much for them). They wouldn't be able to make anything more than that because they are incapable or just lazy or in your case maybe both !!! I am not sure how you know what my warranty covers unless you are one of those individulas that I had to deal with. As I did mention on the phone if you don't like your job you shouldn't be doing it because you are not good at it anyways. By the way only one person hang up on me and that would be Derek.  I don't think that I was rude at all until the people that I am trying to talk to don't make any sense and they are trying to screw me.  By the way I wouldn't expect anything more from a person that considers putting food in the microwave or a toaster oven as cooking. Thanks for pointing that out.  Maybe you can send me the recipes so I can cook for my 9 month old using lal the methods that you mentioned above. Maybe this is how you feed your children if you do of course (maybe the goverment does that for you).  I work very hard and make a lot more than minimum wage so I can afford to pay for your services.  I don't consider myself as stupid or spoiled. It is people like you that have made our world into what it is now.  A place full of useless and incapable people that can't function.

By the way Joe Erdeman doesn't feel the same way about my situation and I am sure that you will be hearing that very soon.  Let's see who will win in the end.

 OMG!!! You self entitled twit!!!! How exactly do you expect them to be nice. Given that many ppl had hung up on you should be a BIG clue as to your interpersonal phone skills. Your warrenty DOESNT cover overnight shipping. PERIOD!!! It takes the time its going to take to get it repaired.

First, they have OTHER devices you can cook with. A Microwave, a crock pot, a toaster over, a oven, a bbq so you have many many ways to prepare food for your children. You just didnt want to wait. Second, you strike me as one of those individuals who is going to attempt to get thier way no matter who it hurts. THIS IS WHY THEY HUNG UP ON YOU!!!! You are DEMANDING they do something that they CANNOT do and Im 100% sure when you dont get your way you become abusive. Why do I know this you might ask?? BECAUSE THEY HUNG UP ON YOU!!!!!!

Get over yourself and handle your problem like a adult and not like a spoiled child. Jeez I guess stupid and mean DO go together. You bandy about the "rude" card but you do not hold yourself accountable for your rudeness. Perhaps you need to go home and talk with your mommy. She would tell you that you get more done by not abusing the ppl on the other end of the phone.

They are REAL people on the other end of the phone. People who are under NO OBLIGATION to put up with abuse from a spoiled little girl. How would you like it if all you ever get is some assinine jackass who makes UNREALISTIC demands and doesnt take "Sorry we cant help you with that" as a answer? And on top of it getting paid minimum wage for the PRIVILAGE of dealing with ppl like you.
