Atlantic Circulation Inc. ACI Rip off, Scam York, Pennsylvania
This was last year. A young girl came to the house saying she only needed so many more points in order to go on vacation and the girls are out beating the guys so far. It was her first year of college and she would love to go. I felt bad so I looked at my fiance to see if this was something we could do. Well she started to talk to us and ask us personal questions which I thought was weird but she seemed like an out going girl so I didn't think anything of it. We looked through the list of magazines that we could get. We kept saying that we don't need it, but she convinced us otherwise about how much money we could save on them and so on. So we looked and she told us that if we were to purchase 3 magazines it would be cheaper for us because we can get one of them for free and it gives her more points.
She went on to act nice and try to buddy up to us. She came into the house and acted if she was a guest, asked us to adopt her, and then helped herself to fresh, homemade cookies. I should have clued on there but I guess I am a big fool.
Well 3 months after she said we would get the magazines we did not. So therefore I decided to contact them and see what was going on. They told me that they processed my order and it should be coming within a month. So I let it go until I received bills in the mail for these magazines and I was pissed.
It didn't make any sense. So I contacted the magazine companies themseleves. Well they told me they have yet to receive payment from me or any other outside source. And to add to it they told me they never heard of ACI or Atlantic Circulation Inc. That sent me over board.
Well, I tried to contact them multiple times and still have yet to hear anything. I emailed them and now I can't find their email address. I tried to call and left messages and no one calls me back. I am getting frustrated. How can they do this to people.
