I own a small home improvement business. For a few years every 6 - 8 weeks I get an "UNAVAILABLE" telephone call from a sales person representing Atlas Construction Supply or Atlas Supply or Atlas Construction from Tempe, Az. The telephone number is unavailable. Today, I was called and harassed on 3 calls by the same person calling me names and making threats.
Today, was the "Straw that broke the camels back"! I called my telephone carrier to ask if anything could be done outside of putting a block on a number that was listed as UNAVAILABLE. They could do nothing. They suggested reporting it to my local police department. I don't think that would do much either. So, I tried looking them up on the web and came across a few negative reports of this company. I have asked them on the last few years to "STOP CALLING ME" and DO NOT CALL ME ANYMORE. But they still call.
I do not think anything can be done, but I am going to call the Better Business Bureau in Tempe, AZ and report it. Beware, this company practices harsh and cruel conversation to get you to buy construction supplies. Do not buy from them. Do not give them your time or any of your money. The products you may buy probably are not what you thought you were buying.

I called the Arizona Attorney Generals Office, the Better Business Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce in Tempe AZ. There is on record 2 complaints to the BBB about how this company conducts telephone sales methods. It states that this company uses very harsh threats to force someone to purchase from them. I know for I am a victim of their tactics. They do not obey the "DO NOT CALL" requests. The use vulgar language and threatened me bodily harm. Teach them a lesson. Hang up when they call. Chances are you won't know their telephone number when they call it will show "UNAVAILABLE" if you have caller ID.
