AT&T - NCO Financial Systems Ripoff Wilmington Delaware
In mid June 2002 I moved in with my brother to take care of him after a massive hesart attack. Soon after I realized the VERIZON tel service we had was too expensive .. We cancelled and went to cell phones only.
Since then we have had no land line. WE use on cell phones, Before I decided to change to cell only I called AT&T re their rates. Now they want to bill me $192.79 for land line service.
I never had their service and we swapped msgs several times when they first billed me. How can they bill me when I had NO LAND LINE??/
Last straw.. I just rec'd a threatening ltr re payment of the $192.70

Marlene, NCO is a debt collector and is not part of AT&T. NCO is also a junk debt buyer, of the worst kind. File FTC complaints online at FTC.gov, and also see Budhibbs.com for a wealth of info on NCO. Send a request for debt validation, certified mail, return reciept requested. DO NOT sign it, print only! Good luck
