Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I went to AT&T store Sat. 4/18/09 to inquire about At&T wirelss for my house. I was told no problem let me see if we have coverage were you live. The man said well it will be slow but faster than dial up. I said thats was fine sing me up.

Were I live internet is expensive with other company's. AT&T said I could have the wirless card for $60 a month. I thought this was a bargin.

The salesman doodled around got on his self phone talked to other customers while i wondered what the hold up was about.

The CSR said oh its popping up an $800 deposit. What?? I asked could he explian why. He said i would have to call 611 due to privacy he could not.

He told me to take his busness card and come back after i got this resolved> HA if wasnt willing to help me understand what the problem was now he dang sure wasnt going to have the chsnce later.

I went to my truck and called 611 the lady there said i dont do wireless i only do handle mobile phones. I asked if she could conect me to someone who dose work in wireless internet. She said no i would have to wait till monday. I hung up, I was obviously getting no were. I decided to go to the store in Bellmead, The gentleman that helped me last time did a great job.

This time a young lady waits on me. I told her i would like wireless internet for my home. I gave her my address, she said we dont offer Wirelss wer you live. I told her i just left the store on Waco dr and he said that it required an $800 deductable. Oh she said the wireless card, that does have deposit. I asked he if she culd tell me why. She said no, that i would need to call Customer Service.

I thought that was her job! She said that i had a claim in collections, she was unable to tell me why, how much was due, and what phone # the account was in. The manager came over and said that he computer system would not go that far back i would have to call collections.

I said i dont want to call collections i want to know what the phone # was that i supposidly didnt pay. I have had phone service with the same company for 10 years and i have the same phone #.

My parents have a phone in my name and there has been no interuption in service nor has ther been a bill sent to us letting us know there is an unpaid bill. This account in collections was been there since 2005!

Finaly the manager got on his computer and pulled up the account so i could at least know the phone # that was unpaid! The phone # was never a # that my parents nor my self has ever had.

Apparently when AT&T was bought out by Cingular an account was never paid and a new upgrade account was created. When AT&T was bought out i didnt have a choice wether or not i want to change. One day my phone screen said Cingular.

When the contract was up for renewal we upgraded with a new phone, never knowing that the account would change. But what is not explained is the phone # that we never had. I singed up for a new phone line in 2005 but never heard weather i was approved or not. I assumed I wasnt going to recieve the new line since i never got an e-mail stating Congradulations on your new phone or sorry we are unable to process your request at this time.

Now some one has this phone and it is still in use! I called the Number young man said he has had the phone sicnce 2005. I asked him about his bill he said his mom took care of it! Wonder were she works? AT&T! Now i have to figure out what action to take and do I sew the mom or do i sew AT&T? Monday I will contact Someone at AT&T and this will be setled. At no cost to me other than my time.
