Complaint Review: Attorney Christopher Lebherz - Internet

 This will be my last rebuttal. As you mentioned, I have not had a single complaint before the BBO in 30 years of practice. This report has been entered anonymously although I am fairly certain of the author. The author, I believe, is an individual who was aligned with adverse parties in a suit I handled. Not my client and that is important as this site is about consumers of my services. Not adverse parties to legal actions. The two incidents linked to the report involve my personal life and in both cases were dismissed without convictions of any sort. I have never been convicted of a crime in my life. As the law is an adversarial business, the source of the report or complaint becomes very important. I strongly urge any concerned reader to consider that the report(s) are not from clients. I do not intend to engage in any further rebuttals. I feel this report is most unfair in so far as it is anonymous and not from anyone I have represented. Anyone concerned can contact me directly or the staff of any court that I appear in regularly.

While you may think that your answer shows you as a victim of libel and a credible attorney, you have not answered the poorly written original complaint. I, too, have seen first hand your behavior and treatment of people involved in your cases, whether your own clients or those opposite you. You have a very well earned reputation in and out of the courtroom. Your vulgar language and abusive behavior has been well documented and observed by many court officers, attorneys and others involved in the legal/law enforcement profession. While you may have no "formal" complaints with the BBO, we both know that means nothing. The BBO has a very low standard concerning "professional conduct" and makes it very difficult for consumers to bring complaints. You have been arrested numerous times, according to public records, for alleged abuse against women, assault and alcohol related offenses. Why not let everyone know the disposition of all those cases? Did your Father, a retired Judge, help with any of your troubles? Did he really have information, otherwise public record, allegedly suppressed from the media? This gentleman had a ligitimate complaint regarding your actions and behavior which skirts the line of professional standards. Do you really think the old "I've been practicing for 30 years and have no complaints" argument is valid? You DO have consumer complaints. You HAVE been arrested on some serious alleged offenses. You DO behave the way the original poster alleged. What exactly are you denying?

 I have been practicing law nearly 30 years and have never had one complaint. I believe strongly that I know who made out this report although no identification is given. An individual aligned with parties on the opposite side of an emotional family law case. Note my clients did not file any complaints. I am powerless to stop an individual from making these types of filings so I would urge any person concerned about it to contact me personally.
