Complaint Review: attorneys office of Kathleen Reeves - san leandro California

I dont see the body of this update so I am writing another shortened form. I have since rehired Ms Kelly Gamble who is no longer affiliated with the office of Katheen Reeves. Ms Gamble informed me she was just an employee and had no control over the fees that were charged me. She has agreeded to settle the rest of my case for a flat $825. She doesnt charge for emails,phone calls etc as was done at Kathleen Reeves office. more importantly she has been upfront with me as far as how long my case will take to settle and gave her promise that i wouldnt be charged a penny more than what was agreeded upon. Sshe even went as far as putting the new fee in writing and sent me an email confirming this. She has been honest, hardworking and a person of her word and it has been a pleasure having her as my attorney.

I have met with Ms Kelly Gamble and was informed by her that she was just an employee at the Law Offices of Kathleen Reeves and had no contol over the charges. Ms Gamble is no longer an employee of Ms Reeves due her unjustly being fired. Both Ms Gamble and I are the victims here. When I consulted with Ms Gamble, at her new office, she explained to me that she bills entirely different from Ms Reeves. At Ms. Reeves office I was afraid to leave emails, phone calls, messages or even consult in person with my atty for the fear of being charged exorbant fees. This fear effected our ability to correspond with each other. Ms Kelly Gamble gave me her word that she would not charge me for such things and further went on to rest my fears by giving me the option as to whether i wanted to pay her by the hour or pay a flat $825 for preparing the rest of my documents and that even included representing me in court! She took it a step further, trying to regain my trust by putting that agreement in writing and sending me a email confirmation with the promise that she wouldnt charge me a penny more than the amount agreeded upon, which was $825. Ms Gamble has went out of her way to make sure i get what i paid for and has exclaimed that honesty is paramount to her. I agreeded. She has stuck by her word and since I hired her and discontinued my relationship with Ms Reeves office, she has kept her word. Her secreatary is friendly and promptly relays all messages to her and i dont have the worry about how long the message is or whether she will charge me an arm and a leg for my correspondance with her. The very small staff there at Kelly Gambles new office is very friendly. The office is even very handicapped excessible which is very important to me. Ms Gamble was unjustly fired from her job at Ms Reeves office and that explains why Ms Gamble wasnt receiving the messages I was sending her and the staff at Ms Reeves office fail to communicate that too me. I tried unsuccessfully to obtain information about my case as far as where i was with my case and when the matter would be concluded at the office of Kathleen Reeves. Ms Gamble, however was very frank with me, explained where i was in my case and specifically how long it would take to settle it. I have been pleased thusfar to have made the decision to hire Ms Gamble as my attorney. She has been honest, friendly and hardworking, trying her best to make my experience at her office pleasant not like the experience I had at Ms Kathleen Reeves office. Thank you!
