Audi VW of Newton New Jersey never paid off my trade-in Newton New Jersey
I suffered the same fate as others that have reported here... I bought a new car, drove off the lot with a new car and left my trade in with them. We made a deal. 7 weeks have passed and my trade-in still not paid off with my auto-financing company. I have already owed 2 payment on the car since trading it in. I always thought that you can trust a car dealership to do what they agreed to do. They are supposed to overnight the payoff to them within a few days. maybe 10 days at most. I have been on the phone with them constantly, 3 times a week, go there in person, and all I get is a run-around.
There ought to be a law against this. I can't understand how they can get away with this. I also can't believe that they would want to give a customer such a bad experience that there is no way we could EVER do business with them again.
A friend told me this is a common scam. I had no idea.
Don't go here if you plan to trade in a car that you still owe payments on; that's my advice.
