Audiofile ripped me and hunderds of other people off buying "overstocked" stereo equipment City Of Industry California
I was at the bank on Friday May 2 when I was approached by these two guys in a beige SUV...
They asked me if I wanted to buy some home theater speakers that they had "overstocked" on a delivery. They had made the claim that the left over stereo equipment would be going their boss to just keep, and rathar than taking it back to him,("because the last time it happened he ended up keeping a $7000 T.V.") they thought they would just make a little money on the side. He wanted $700 for both speakers and told me I was getting a great deal because they were well worth $1200. I really didn't have any money in the first place so I said no. He then showed me a packing slip to prove his story was plausable and a catalog proving the value, and I also watched him open up one of the speakers to show me. It looked nice and so I told him that all the money I had in my account was $200. (which sadly was the truth) He said that he really didn't want to do it but he really needed to get rid of them so he agreed to $200.
He was very insistent on me drawing cash from my ATM; but I put my foot down on this one. I knew that a check would be my only form of reciept to prove that I bought them from him. I didn't think that he would take a check if the stuff was stolen or no good.
His name is Ivan Negron, looks italian with dark olive skin and an Arizona license. Very noticeable NY accent; crooked stained teeth. The other guy was white and went by the name of Chris, he didn't say much the entire time but came to talk to me while Ivan whas in the bank.
I was a victim of a rip-off and now have to make $30 last for 2 weeks. These guys decieved me and took me for everything I had! Don't let them do it to you!!
Kick a*s on site and report these clowns. The only place for them is jail.
