I ordered Aura Vie online, and I very much paid attention to the fine print where I had to enter my debit card information.  At no time do I remember reading that you had to cancel your order in ten days to not receive another shipment.  Over Christmas, when checking my bank account, I saw that this company had drawn $97.88 out of my account without my authorization and, upon checking my mailbox, they had sent me another shipment that I didn't order, didn't authorize, and didn't want.  I tried to get a hold of the company, but it was the holidays and they were closed.  So, I scribbled my address off of the label and wrote on the package, "Return to Sender, I didn't order this," and I threw it in the package deposit bin at the post office.

A week later, I tried to call the company to see why they hadn't credited me my money in my account.  They alleged that they hadn't received the package back in their "Shipping Warehouse," and that the shipping warehouse is different from the Receiving Warehouse which gets back returns.  The man on the phone stated that I should have called to get the companies return policy and procedure, well, how could I do that if it was the holidays and they were closed.  I told him truthfully, how would I have known to do that when I didn't authorize the delivery of this package, didn't order it, and didn't authorize the funds being taken out of my account?  He argued that I should have read the conditions when ordering a free trial, he stated the ten day return policy was right next to where I put my card number in. I told him I didn't remember seeing such a policy. He said that he would put a note in the computer in regards to my potential refund that wouldn't be issued until such time as they received it in their "Shipping Warehouse," but he offered no idea as to when that would be or if that would ever be.   He told me they had an "A" rating with the Better Business Bureau, and I told him I was going to file a complaint.  He blamed me for not reading appropriately when I ordered and not calling them to follow their return policy.  I told him how would I know to do that when I didn't order the package or authorize the withdrawal of my funds?  At this time, I am held in limbo hoping that they'll acknowledge delivery of that package so that I may finally get my monies refunded where they took them out without my authorization.
