Aurora Loan Services Flood Insurance and hidden balloon payment Littleton Colorado
When I first got behind, this company offered to help me to cut my payments in half for the next 3 months to help me with my bills. Making it clear that the money I owed will be attached at the end of the loan. So I was very pleased on how fast and very friendly they seemed on wanting to help me. I should have known better, if it's too good to be true, "it is too good to be true."
To make the story short, I called them to make a payment on the fourth month thinking that I was current on my mortgage. WRONG!! They told me that there was a balloon payment that I had to pay and they didn't have that program available where they can add the balance owed at the end of the loan. Of course by this time I was very upset. I explained how I was never told about this when I made this deal nor it was mentioned anywhere on any forms I signed. I have my first mortgage with them for $2100.00, imagine how much balloon payment I have to pay on top of my standard mortgage.
I had no choice but to make another payment plan with them. They want me to pay an extra 1k with my mortgage for 3 mos. while I'm filing for a hardship which I did. They said it will take 90 days for them to make a decision. So I kept calling to check and see if I was approved and nothing happened. It wasn't looked at until after the grace period. Then I got a letter in the mail saying that I was denied. So I thought, maybe I can talk to them again since I'm paying a big amount.
I had paid them 4k last mo. thinking that it will somewhat cath up, wrong again. It didn't even make a difference in what I owe.
Now they are hitting me on a $2729.50 flood ins. which will raise my mo. pymt to 2831.04. Like other people I had purchased a separate flood ins. even when my property is not in a flood zone. So I tried to dispute this with my insurance agent's help. Come to find out this charge was for last year which I have coverage because I couldn't close on my house without this. I can never get out of this hole. If any one can help me, please let me know. I don't want to lose my house and my kid's home. Now I can't even rent a home because my credit is shot.
