I ordered a performance chip from autochipsdirect. Will not work. The company will not return call or answer emails. I cannot return without a number.After 30 days you get a replacement only I know why!

 i bought 2 chips 1 for 93 chev. blazer 5.7tbi performed as claimed,with no problems yet after 2 yrs.   1 for 95 f150 5.0 truck died at idle,returned chip for new one with no problem was satisfied with service.

Hi. First of all I would like to say we are very sorry for the issues you described. Recently, we've been having issues with our phone company. We have since actually moved over to a new company, we even changed our number, (see the new number on the top of our website). Because of this, we are sure our phones are working now. We apologize for the hard time you've been having trying to get a hold of us. 

In regards to the 30 day return policy. We do not normally enforce this. You have to understand however, that we are an American Company. We make each module to order, we cannot re-use or refurbish modules. We use only American made parts, and we buy from American companies one. We choose to do this because it's important to support our Economy. However, with that comes increased material costs.

We have a 30 day return policy for reasons such as, customer no longer has their car, customer needs money quickly, customer decided they wanted to buy another car (in which case we will exchange, which only we do), customer just needs cash back. Of course after reading those scenarios, you can see we need to enforce some sort of return policy - as do all other companies. Our return policy is far from strict, we almost always refund after 30 days if the product stops working (for whatever reason). We also offer a lifetime exchange program free of charge, you don't even need to pay shipping. 

Very few car companies offer the level of flexibility in our return policy.

With that, we need your help. In order to help you with the refund, we need more information. Please email me directly at [email protected] so we can help you figure out this problem. We will gladly assist you with either an exchange or a full refund. We are not trying to hide, or evade you, we simply had a phone problem.
