Placed order for AC Crimp tool and supplies totaling $156 on Dec 31, 2009. Order had not been received by Jan 12, 2010. Received a e-mail confirming order. and a payment confirmation through RBS Worldpay (A bank in the UK). Repeatead daily e-mails to
[email protected] and
[email protected] yeild no reply. Calls to the number listed result in a answering machine that is full. No reply from the online contact tool. Searched internet for related information and located about a half dozen suspected fraud reports. Contacted my card provider Jan 12, 2010 to initiate a disputed charge.
Searched the net further and found that the original Author of much of the in-depth AC information on the site is no longer involved wit the firm. It appears that he sold or transfered the web sites content around the 2005-2006 time frame. I an guessing that the new owners (in Ontario or New York) are fraudulently using the very credible site content to lure unsuspecting buyers into spending $$ on these products with no intention of order fulfillment; skimming the few that do not seek refunds.
Will update if the vendor does ever deliver. In meantime, consider the site and all suspect aliases as fraudulent.
