I made the mistake of ordering a "autographed" guitar from this company. Not twenty minutes after I placed my order did I come on here to find all of these reports confirming what my gut instinct was already telling me. They are all fake. I sent e-mail after e-mail, and even called "Customer Service" to cancel my order before it shipped, but I got no where. My calls went unanswered, and on the only occasion out of many that I did get someone to answer, I was told I had to submit my cancellation in the form of an e-mail, which I had already done. I again submitted a request to cancel and never got a response. More than a week went by and I figured they got the message and cancelled it because I never received a shipping tracking number as promised when they were going to ship the item. Today, the item arrived on my doorstep. I was charged $45 for shipping when the label on the box clearly states it only cost $16 to ship. I took it back to the post office and refused delivery. The charges are being disputed with my credit card company, and I was already informed by them that they are under investigation for tons of fraudulent activity. Beware of these guys, they are scam artists selling fake garbage!

If you want a laugh, check out the website: Autographsamerica.com...every picture on the front page must have been photoshopped..either that or this guy only owns one shirt and tie..and a single pair of sunglasses he wears in every photo in the same pose hahahha

Hi Shane,

I've seen a lot of your comments on the other reports about this company and I am glad someone else shares my sentiments here. I can see your anger in a lot of the comments and I feel exactly the same way. The game these guys are running is pretty obvious after a little research! I tried calling today to get a return address for my item as there was conveniently none on the box the item came in and I got hung up on! They refused to give me their address. My credit card company knows all about the issue and has also tried to contact them about this with no luck. They told me that they now consider this a fraud and are refunding my money. I guess if they want their item back they'll have to give me an address...I guess when you have something to hide you have to make sure no one can find you...

Very sorry to hear that you have become another victim of Autographs America.  I can not believe that they are still getting away with what they are doing and the authorities stick their head in the sand while consumers continue to be ripped off.

Well done for getting in contact with your credit card company.  I really hope they come through for you.

I wish people would wake up to Mr Burkel's scam and stop lining his pockets with thier hard earned cash.
