You are definitely management material! Your complete lack of punctuation, paragraphs and capitalization show me your efficient nature. Really, why waste time pushing all those extra buttons on the keyboard? Enough sarcasm. Seriously, you have made Autozone's case for them. I don't know of any retail outlet that would consider someone with your communication skills for a management position. Your attempt to rationalize your unauthorized discounts showed your limited understanding of business management principles. Basically, as a manager, you would have been required to control and justify expenses, which would include discounts. If what you wrote is the best you could come up with, you should rethink your career goals.

You gave UNAUTHORIZED discounts. It is not up to you to decide what a person should pay. You are lucky they are only suing you for the amount and not filing criminal charges on you, because that is a form of theft. Beyond your spelling a main reason that you are not a manager is because you don't seem to understand even the basic concepts of the business. The 6.5 Billion number is NOT profit, that is their Gross Revenue(Sales). After everything is accounted for their NET Income was only about 641 Million. If you gave over $800 in discounts as a regular associate, who know how much you would have given as a manager. This could easily turn a profitable store into one that is loosing money. Then see how long you have the job.
