Autozone Cathy refused to sign my employment verification ripoff Oklahoma City Oklahoma
I worked at Autozone at Country Club Corner.
This is at 63rd and N. May in Oklahoma City.
I was a Driver delivering auto parts.
Cathy was a manager that replaced the fellow who hired me.
I was trying to start over here in Okla. City.
I had an apartment ready to go at the Crosswinds on May Ave.
Cathy refused to sign the employment verification from the Crosswinds claiming she would get in trouble.
Well, I could not verify the employment.
I've lost the apartment.
I'm homeless and on the street.
Well, all I can do is make a report of it.
By the way, I am no longer in Minco, OK. I am
back in Oklahoma City again.

This Manager had been taught NOT to do a certain thing. She did not have any knowledge of my actual employment status. I had no contract with Autozone. It was an "at will" agreement and the Manager "Cathy" felt compelled by legal reasoning NOT to vouch for my employment because there was NO BINDING CONTRACT that would guarantee that I could pay my rent. I am not a trained lawyer and the law is a very very complex subject. This report is closed. Happy Holidays,

This was really weird to me but I don't care anymore. I shouldn't be working at autozone driving anyway. It doesn't matter anymore because unless I run the company, I'm never going to like the way they do things anyway. I admit she probably knows more about car parts than I do. I think the computer programs they use are from the Jurassic Period and I don't care if I know how to use them or not. Great! San Jose is too cold and they have computers elsewhere. Nothing personal everyone out there. I just don't like the way you do business. Bye Merry Christmas.
