AVLIS ripoff Bear Delaware
I was contacted on 1/25/05 about getting a Mastercard with a $2500 limit. All I had to do was pay $349.25 on 2/4/05. I would get the card before then, and I could take a cash advance and use that for the fee. While I was on the phone, i was also online trying to look up this AVLIS Inc. But, I found no website. After I hung up the phone, I found this website. I called one of the numbers i was given (only one was legit), and told them to cancel my order. They said to call back in 48 hrs. I had a brief argument with the cust. serv. rep. Then, i called my bank, told them the situation. I was advised to CLOSE my account b/c they could debit funds under several names, and i would constantly be dealing with them, but if I closed the account, they could no longer get funds b/c they will have had a checking acct that has been closed.
