Avoir-Velour Products (serum & cream) caused a condition on eyelids & under eyes called Contact Dermatitis. Santa Ana California
In an effort to retard the aging process, I responded to an on-line ad for this company's anti-aging products called,
Avoir Anti-Aging Serum and Velour Eye Cream. This was an order for a fourteen day free trial period, with me paying onlythe shipping cost of $3.95 & $5.95. After a few days of usage, I noticed my eyelids were flaking, were red, and inflamed. Additionally, the area under my eyes is extremely dried out and stretched. After a visit with my Opthalmologist on yesterday, November 7, 2014, I was informed that I have a condition called Contact Dermatitis.
For some reason, call it instinct or guttural, I was motivated to check their website for any future obligation on my part. And, there it was in plain sight!!! If not notified to discontinue receiving the products, they would automatically debit my card and send additional products. Whew!! Thank goodness I followed my instinct/gut!!! Even after telling the young lady of my skin reaction, she continued to offer me discounts, 30% and 50%, on future purchases. Luckily, I had seven remaining days. Relationship has been severed with return confirmation numbers for both products. The young lady did state that I am responsible for returning the unused portions!!! And, if I have disposed of packing, I must pay shipping. If I still have packaging, I was instructed to put the products in then, seal with taped, and mark "return to sender".
While I avoided avoided the "RipOff", I. write this with the hope that others will not fall victim to this scam!
