Axia College Of University Of Phoenix Online, Continued to enroll me in classes after I asked them not to and then charged me for the courses that I never took, Internet
When I first enrolled in UoP I intended on completing the entire course schedule as planned. However, a year and half into it, things at work changed and I advised my counselor that I would need to take the next set of courses off. I was told that this would be no problem. Since I was still in class finishing up my course block I noticed that the next set was already populated, and for whatever reason the financial aide that I had as my payment method must not have been selected for whatever reason because I received a bill in the mail for $2500.
For a year and half, I have had financial aide covering the cost of my schooling yet this block of classes that I asked to not be enrolled in in the first place was not covered. When I tried to call and email my FA and AC they had been changed. Of course neither of them knew the situation and I had to explain everything from the beginning. I must have spoken with three different people regarding this and not one person has a clue to what I am talking about.
I should have known from the start that this school was a joke when they charged my credit card for the first set of courses and books when my selection was financial aide and it took them two months and probably 20 emails to get my money back. Not to mention that since I started with UoP, they must have had 3 increases in tuition and my company's tuition reimbursement program didn't cover all of it because of the increases and I ended up paying out of pocket and having to pay taxes on top of it too.
The school is only out to get money from people, they do not care about the people that attend the school. I still have not paid the bill and I refuse to pay the bill because as far as I'm concerned I never had the services therefore I don't owe anything. I have sent them everything that they need to prove that my side of the story, but they probably lost it anyway.
