Axia College Of University Of Phoenix Online Worked the Student Aid, Took the Money, Left Me Without Giving Me Credit Phoenix Arizona
I took two classes at the University of Phoenix and they got $3750.00. When I try to transfer credits to another school, they say I owe them money.
Now, this is the first out of two schools that took Financial Aid, in my name, and refuses to transfer transcripts to another school. This leaves me taking the same courses over when I try to go back to school.
This is my second report here of these Online schools "working the system". I've tried the grievance procedure, and now I'm working with the Department of Higher of Education. But they say they can't do anything if I owe the school money.
I withdrew after taking two classes because I had to have a complete lumbar reconstruction on my back. They were fully aware of this as I was in contact with their disability department the entire time. I think what they did was penalize me for going into the hospital. But, I don't know. Neither school refuses to tell me what I owe them for. Colorado Technical University is the other school that I reported. They got $6334.00 for four classes. Now I am responsible for over $10,000 and neither school will transfer my transcripts on to other schools.
I think there ought to be an investigation into this. I have an EFC of "0", and the school was getting all of the funds owed to them from Financial Aid. Why do I owe them money?
Anyone interested in Online schools, beware! This is bad business.
